How to install Kiosk Printers without cut sheet presenter
When using a Kiosk printer without a cut sheet presenter in a direct ticket output mode (direct to the general public), it is possible this may present the risk of the ticket being pulled before the cut has taken place. This may result in a potential paper jam.
Due to that, Fenix recommends to install TK31 printer as shown in the two examples that you can find in the downloads area. Examples Nº1 is the preferred method. In the case of deploying in the format shown in example Nº2, we would advise that the protective cover employed should be 15mm shorter than the ticket length required. This will only permit access to the ticket after cut is completed.
We would recommend that the two examples of ticket issuing shown, are the best-practice with respect to anti-vandalism, and also the ingress of foreign bodies via the ticket slot.
